FAQ’S
Do I have to participate on stage?
Don’t worry, we’re not in the business of ambushing anyone. The stage is a volunteer-only zone. We highly recommend it but it’s up to you. If you would like to participate in the show, please speak to the door staff who will point you in the right direction.
What is the gender ratio at the events?
We aim for balanced ratio at our events. Interestingly, we often have a higher turnout of ladies, so gentlemen this is your sign to get out of your comfort zone and get to one of our events.
Do many people attend solo?
Absolutely, many attendees come on their own so don’t worry you won’t be sitting by yourself. Stepping out of your comfort zone and attending on your own will encourage you to interact and meeting more people. We’ve had many close friendships form from our event.
What’s the average age bracket?
The average age of attendees is between 25 and 49 years old. We do get a great mix of ages so don’t let it put you off. Regardless of your age you’ll enjoy the show.

Online ticketing will close 4hrs prior to show time on the day of the event. After this time, tickets will be available for purchase on the door unless sold out prior. The Sit Down Comedy Club is licensed – strictly no admittance to people under 18 years of age. Performer line up is correct at time of publication, however, is subject to change without prior notification and at the discretion of management. Some performance concepts and language may offend. Filming will be occurring in the venue for this performance. Seating allocated by SDCC depending on booking group sizes and chronological order of bookings. PLEASE NOTE: You may be seated at a table with other booking groups.
