One thing had to change….everything. The secret of comedy is timing, and Greg “Sully” Sullivan has gone from being the oldest at the kids table to being the youngest in the hip surgery ward. He got his license when he was 27; his kids saw snow before him; and he still has never been on a date.
After 30 years as a professional comic, travelling the world, doing radio, TV and movies, he’s decided to perform his debut solo show at the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Come see a work in progress of what will become Oldest Newcomer, because you should never stop starting.
Ticket Prices:
Adult 18+ Ticket: $27.00 ea + booking fee*
Please Note – food will not be available for purchase in the club during this show. You will be able to purchase beverages from the Comedy Club bar throughout the show, however if you would like to eat at the venue, you will need to do so upstairs in The Paddo either before or after the show. All ‘Oldest Newcomer’ transactions incur a booking fee of $3 per ticket. Online ticketing will close at 3:00PM AEST on the day of the event. After this time, tickets will be available for purchase on the door unless sold out prior. The Sit Down Comedy Club is licensed – strictly no admittance to people under 18 years of age. Performer line up is correct at time of publication, however is subject to change without prior notification and at the discretion of management. Some performance concepts and language may offend. Filming may be occurring in the venue for this performance. Seating allocated by SDCC depending on booking group sizes and chronological order of bookings. PLEASE NOTE: You may be seated at a table with other booking groups.
